Upon arrival at the Kunming International Airport, your local guide will meet you and transfer to your hotel. Kunming is the capital city of Yunnan province, with a fine climate and is called the Spring City.

You will drive 86 km to the Stone Forest. There is a local saying: 'It is a waste of time not to visit the Stone Forest while visiting Kunming', which vividly expresses the deep love of the local people toward this world wonder. The quintessential karst landscape makes every tourist lost in wonder.

Visit the landmark of Kunming-the Golden Horse and Phoenix Archwayand; Take a stroll along the Green Lake, a charming area of teahouses and small boutiques selling handicrafts and beautiful local paintings. Visit the Flower and Bird Market in the downtown.

Take a morning flight to Dali;
After arrival, you’ll travel in the Erhai Lake by boat and visit Jinsuo Island. After landing, you will head for Xizhou Town to fully appreciate Bai-style architecture, taste their fragrant three-course tea and explore their distinctive culture.
Then visit the Three-pagoda in Chongshen Temple, which is a typical historical symbol of Yunnan. It is also one of the oldest sublime architecture in South China.
At last, you will visit the Old Dali Town, which is located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain.

Visit Zhoucheng Town, and Bai people's Died Cloth Work Shop.
Then drive to Lijiang.
 Visit the Black Dragon Pool and the Dongba Museum to explore the rich Naxi minority culture.

Yulong (Jade Dragon) Snow Mountain is situated 15km north of Lijiang County, with thirteen peaks resembling jade pillars holding the sky, it stands majestically on the east side of the Jinshajiang River. Visit Ganhaizi Meadow, Baishui River, Maoniu Meadow (i.e. Yak Meadow, access to the top of the mountain is provided by a cableway from the foot of the mountain to the Maoniu<yak> Meadow.)
In the afternoon, we'll stroll through Baisha Village, which is an enchanting traditional Yunnan village. Then visit the Former Residence of Joseph Rock, famous botanist and expert on Naxi culture.
Back to Lijiang old town.

In the morning, dive 6 hours on the spectacle mountain road to visit the mysterious Lugu Lake. On the way, enjoy the beautiful view among the huge mountains and rivers. You plan to start your walking from Jin’anqiao Bridge to Shudi along the road at the bank of Yangtze River. you will see the beautiful canyon and Yi ethnic people’s villages in the steep mountains. After 1 hour walking in the canyon, you will continue the driving and you can stop in many Yi villages.
Late afternoon, you will take the canoes to visit Liwubi Island and Snake Islet in Lugu Lake.

Optional: In the evening, take part in the night party and performance which is named the Soul of Mosuo. There are a lot of Mosuo young people dancing and singing around the fire in the outdoors theatre.

In the morning, you will drive about 20Km to visit the Zhamei Lamaist Monastery and Mosuo Market in Yongning Town. Then drive back to Lijiang directly. The rest time will be free in Lijiang Old Town.

Lijiang -- Tiger Leaping Gorge -- Shangri-la

From Lijiang, you'll drive about 60KM to the First Bend on the Yangtze River with imposing gorge scenery, and the Iron Chain Bridge in the Stone Drum town. The town of Stone Drum got its name from a large, cylindrical, marble tablet shaped like a drum.
Continue the driving 40KM more to visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. With 34 rapids of the Yangtze River, it is called Jinsha <gold sand> in this area because you can find gold in the river. Afternoon, you'll head for Shangri La, the former Zhongdian. Upon arrival in Shangri La, you will have entered the Tibetan cultural area and a landscape of barley fields and yaks scattered in the valleys.
